HLA Financial Status Update
As of November 8, 2010, the HLA had raised $32,534 in fall donations, membership dues and weed control. This represents 72% of the Associations goal of paying off fully the weed control expenditure for 2010. As there was an indebtedness of over $45,000 at the end of summer, the remaining debt is just under $13,000. Paying off the debt will leave the Association able to apply 2011 contributions to 2011 weed control. These fall don...

HLA Financial State
According to HLA Board member Sandy Patterson, fall contributions following a mailing to all members have accumulated to a total of $23,635. This represents 52.5% of the total needed to erase the current HLA indebtedness of $45,000. In other words, the HLA still owes $21,375 for 2010 weed control which ran to an unprecedented total of $165,000.

An interesting breakdown of 2010 contributions as of the end of June, 2010, shows that of the five districts, District One (Fountain Park, Clark’s Landing, Black Creek, and Cold Springs) has very nearly a 100% participation. In that district, 92% have paid membership dues, 92% have contributed appropriately for weed control and 92% have made an additional donation.
